Cross Cultural Challenge and Opportunities

Culture influences all aspects of business and social life.  Understanding the reasons for certain behaviors, attitudes, and values can help build a foundation for establishing a successful business relationship.  Communicating, problem solving, handling conflict, making decisions are just a few examples of everyday workplace events that are significantly impacted by culture.  This program will provide you with basic tools for interacting with colleagues and clients from different cultures. Country/culture specific training can include: United States, Mexico, Germany, Japan, China. Objectives: Understand the impact of the target country’s history on present day behavior Adapt to various gender roles and leadership styles Demonstrate “culture appropriate”  business etiquette Identify most common areas of misunderstanding
